This unique collaboration between nationally and internationally
renowned artists Bently Spang (Northern Cheyenne) and Marcus Amerman
(Choctaw) introduces two signature performance characters - "Buffalo
Man" and "Indian of the Future/Blue Guy" - to another. For the first
time on stage, Spang and Amerman's characters will face each other in an
epic battle for the right to protect Indian country...or will they?

Indigenous Voices was created in 2001 to explore issues in the
indigenous agenda. In this series, local, national and international
indigenous performers raise issues that affect their community - issues
of identity, rights, struggles and experiences through the performing arts.
This project is made possible in part by a grant from the National
Performance Network's Performance Residency Program. Major contributors
of the National Performance Network include the Doris Duke Charitable
Foundation, Ford Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts (a
