Hi Fabio, I've been working on a project called Sockethub (http://sockethub.org), and recently have begun looking into starting an email web-app project. It would not be tied to any proprietary back-end server logic, using a sockethub instance to carry out messaging tasks. It would use remoteStorage (http://remotestorage.io) for user storage, which could also hold the users PGP key, used to sign their outgoing messages. None of the encryption aspects would be used, just the signing for now.
Does this seem like something suitable for possible grant?
