Yes, Molten LAVA, Hot LAVA etc. ... I liked the name LAVA. Now LAVA! is the name
of some Sound Blaster technology?

Magma was the name for the OS, which was supposed to come as a "means of
operation", the second phase.

ABL\E. Carl worked at VisCorp with Jim Goodnow (who is at REBOL Tech. of course
:-) on Ed Set-top-box. I think much of REBOL/Media is going to be based upon
ABL\E, or so Carl said IIRC.

Plans abou new OS? I am not sure anymore. I remember Carl mentioning something
like: "next great OS will not come from the kernel route". Actually, the age of
various info appliances is really knocking the door, so the question is - what's
the OS? We all complained upon Amiga Inc. deciding to build just some
AmigaObjects, but look also into another projects, as Elate
(http://www.tao-group.com ), or KOSH (http://kosh.convergence.com - the idea of
Object Sea by Dave Haynie), all those system will work on the host systems, while
via the link to underlying OS they provide capabilities of OS functionality, just
thru multiple platforms.
Well, it's just easy - only Carl knows the answer to your question :-)
