Thanks for your response.  If I were to go with Rebol or something else, we
would probably upgrade to a database such as Oracle, Codebase or MSSQL .
Still ODBC will be slower than foxpro for accessing such data probably.
Visual Foxpro has been very good for us so far, we even have the possibility
of rolling out
internet apps in it using a system called west-wind which converts the forms
into html output.
But, from a personal perspective I'm interested in expanding my experience.
Have you looked at JBuilder or Visual Age Java - do they approximate the
environment we have?
