I'm glad to see a Dummies book on REBOL because it will lend
credibility to the language. So far, I have only been able to make
others "somewhat interested" in the language by showing them what can
be done with it. But they haven't yet bothered to try it for themselves
(preferring instead to use perl, python, etc.) At least with the
Dummies book they might begin to realize they are missing out on
something, which they are. I can't wait for the day I look at a web
development job listing and see that knowledge of and experience with
REBOL is required. I'm there!
