Hey, The EA1 is a lovely machine - programming interface is sweet as fcuk. I have one of these and have got some suprisingly fat noises out of it. Have a listen to this track I did (www.oneroute.com/tracks/solo/fingerpuppet.mp3 - the crunching noise on 2:26 is the EA1 and so is the high pitched synth line that comes in on 4:27 Could be good for ambient stuff but it is simply 2 monophonic parts - you might prefer more polyphony for that stuff ... its great for techno/trance anyway ... I really love my EA1 ... its blue and shiny ... For the money they're a bargain! Bit like the Waldorf Pulse in that respect! What does everyone know about the Korg EA1? How about the Kaoss pad too? I'm looking to do really ambient/dark electronic music. Let me know what's up. -Shawn aka Silent http://fuckplur.org (pictures by Jenn Paull) "Where is my mind?" -The Pixies -------[ http://www.tb-303.org ] ---------------------- Subscribe & unsubscribe there : http://www.tb-303.org/ _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx -------[ http://www.tb-303.org ] ---------------------- Subscribe & unsubscribe there : http://www.tb-303.org/
