I bring apologies that the English language I know not in perfection :-)
Korg EA-1 I know well, there is at me a house, good synth, who is especial for those
compose electronic music in styles: electro, trance, techno - list can be continued...
EA-1 - frequently I use as bassline (completely can repeat sounds of old tb-303). A
sound tremendous - analog, pure. As the device analog modeling, on it is possible to
simulate any sound - from telefon ring, to voice of the man. But it is necessary to
pay attention that drummachine in it synth is not present, but if she all the same is
necessary that it is possible to synchronize the device with ER-1 or even better with
EM-1. EM-1 is groovebox (synthesizer + drummachine), it synth contains much PCM
samples with classical sounds. But if you would like to create (to simulate) own
drums, it is better certainly to use in pair with EA-1 drummachine ER-1, therefore -
that ER-1 it analog modeling drummachine which allows to make own drums with the use
4x generators of tone- analog modeling synthesis.
I briefly have described all synthesizers except for sampler ES-1 but to explain that
it for the device there is no sense, sampler it sampler:-)
I have 2 devices: EA-1 and EM-1, is very pleased with them. Everyone carries out the
function in a composing of music.
P.S. If your style only AMBIENT, ideal for You is - KORG MS2000R - analog modeling
synth, rack version. But if You adhere for the sum within the limits of 320 $, EA-1 a
very good combination - price/quality -. But if to buy EA-1 and to connect (for
example) Proteus2000, you can use not only all features of EA-1, (and still to use it
as sequencer) but also all features of Proteus2000.
