Hey fellas,
At the moment, I can't afford a 909, or even an 808 with my
measly, poor university salary. Of course I have a tb-303, but as
well an MPC 2000 sampler, AlphaJuno, other analog synths, other
various equipment, effects, etc. While in a current creative mode,
I'm looking for input or suggestions of any possible decent drum
machines going for less than 2 or $300 (NOT 606, 707, 505, or crappy common
machines[Boss, Alesis, Yamaha, blah, blah]), but something that would
complent the 303/acid sound, drums that are "hard"-sounding. I think
for me a 909 is ideal, just unaffordable at the moment. I look for
anything other than software for good drum sounds. Maybe something I could
find on ebay. Any suggestions are much appreciated. If
not, wish me luck. Thanks.
Best Regards,
Dave
