hello everyone!

I downloaded that Freebie 303 emulator program on the
title page of tb-303.org and have been using it with
good results IMHO. While I know that no emulator can
exactly emulate the 303 sound, I'm just wondering if
anyone else who owns an actual 303 tried out this
program and what your opinion is as to the
authenticity of it.

I realize that driving the actual device live on a
track allows one to interact with the music better
than using loops...but I'm just talking the raw sound
quality of it...

I know the original 303 doesn't have a sub osc, PWM,
hi-pass or built in distortion/delay like that emu
does. How does the unprocessed sound compare, anyone
know? How is it different?

I look forward to your reply.

first experiment (no changing cutoff in real time,
just straight sequence with distortion/delay effects)
