Yeah i know that but there arent there stop / start / continue system messages you can write into Cubase that then get converted into Roland sync signal and tell the TB when to play and when to not play, just wondering if anyone knows how to program these in.  Or if this is not the case how you stop and start your 303's?   Thanks guys

>Hi guys hust a quick question for you. The TB-303 is syncd up to the midi
>clock of the computer using a Philip Rees convertor, so no probs there,
but how do you write in the stop / start messages in to the sequencer window
>(cubase) Many thanks for your ever helpfull advice Tom

you dont (and cant) do that at all. the sync converter does nothing els e but
convert the midi clock to a roland sync signal, which means: whenever the
sequencer (cubase) is running, the tb is running. if you want it to play
along different patterns, you have to either set them up as a song in the
tb303, or switch them manually while it is playing.

cheers,
felix
