Hi everyone,I was wondering if any other list admins have been experiencing this issue: Lately on the accounts-enwiki-l mailing list, we've been getting an increasing number of messages (now about two messages per week) where the message content is somehow lost. The moderation queue will show some message about the email content being lost, and approving the email for the list only results in the following being delivered:
This is especially strange given that these emails are /not/ being sent to multiple lists. Also interestingly, the held message notification I receive as a list admin will have the original message. Fortunately, this means I can forward the original message onward to the list manually, but this is still rather annoying. The content of this message was lost. It was probably cross-posted to multiple lists and previously handled on another list.
I saw that there is a Phabricator ticket open for this issue already, T377045 <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T377045>. I don't know if any WMF technical folks monitor this list and would be able to give this issue some attention, but if so, that would be appreciated. Probably also wouldn't hurt to get some more documentation of the issue if this is a more widespread problem.
Thanks very much! -- Sincerely, Andrew "FastLizard4" Adams https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:FastLizard4 https://fastlizard4.org [email protected] GPG Key ID: 0x 221A 627D D76E 2616
