I personally think that a website needs to be web standard but > also eye catching. the trick is to find the balance. hi, one usually sees schools of fish on a dive. some designers forget that the web is the "information" super highway. i believe that most users of the internet are looking for information. granted graphics can present a degree of information, but what good are informational graphics if you're blind? i also think that too many graphics and too little content makes a page useless and inaccessible from the stand point of providing useful information to a visitor, especially those with disabilities. i think the balance between graphics, or presentation, and content, information is well done. i think the design is clean and very professional looking. you go elle, keep up the good work. does the design stay together at 800x600? i know that a majority of internet users don't view pages at this resolution these days, but i know a few people that still do; and nothing makes me it the back button quicker than a site that has a horizontal scroll bar. cheers, dwain ****************************************************** The discussion list for http://webstandardsgroup.org/ See http://webstandardsgroup.org/mail/guidelines.cfm for some hints on posting to the list & getting help ******************************************************
