While I totally agree, the difficult clients are usually the ones that
don't pay enough and don't care about what other people think - they
want it how they want it. If you've had clients like that, you know
it's best to cut your losses as soon as you can :P

If you take my quote in full and in context though I was justifying
the reason for including text resizing options on a web site, and
while I don't know if its the best thing to do it is definitely an
option when clients insist on small text (and I'm talking 10px and
smaller). You give them some little font resizing buttons and then
they are happy - meanwhile the rest of the world gets the default
font-size and they are happy :)
