One would hope that this information would already be somewhere in your
head when you implemented the hack.
I suspect that in essence we're agreeing, Barney, but I would point
out that sure, you might remember what hack was implemented for a
particular problem now - but what about in two years time or when
you're working with someone else's code? If I had the choice of a hack
or a more verbose but blatently obvious conditional comment, I'll take
the comment every time.
