Well, ok, maybe <i class="institution">Warw</i>. It has some semantics
brought in
with class and it stays in italics even with CSS off.

But that begs the question: does it lose meaning if CSS is off and it doesn't appear in italics? I'd argue that it doesn't, it means the same, it just doesn't follow the visual convention - but when CSS is off, discussions on visual convention may become rather academic...
