Check out ies4linux (http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page). It uses Wine so it should also work in OS X. For IE7 you'll need to use version 2.5beta, not the current 2.0.5 version. I use it with Linux and it works great, running IE5.0, 5.5, 6, and 7. Besides adding IE7, v2.5 also adds the IE version to the title bar. IE7 isn't the full IE7, though; it's an IE6 shell with the IE7 rendering engine. Good enough, since that's the only feature of IE7 I care about.
