I'm a completely newbie in linux and it's possible that I did something wrong but I install qmail and Binc and there is some problems on my installation. In fact binc works more or less.
1) when, in outlook, I copy mail from my personnal folders to imap folders, it is very slow. It 's the same with Mozilla. I intalled VMware on the same machine. And in a VMware session a win98SE with Mdaemon 6.xx as smtp/imap server and it was faster than Binc. There is somewhere something I did wrong but what?
2) I create a folder called "Public" that is a imap folder at the same level of Inbox. With mozilla I cannot create a folder under "Public", the menu doesn't appear. In outlook xp it 's OK but if I can create subfolder in "Public" , I cannot create other subfolders in those subfolders ex: Public/achives/...
Outlook just tell me that the Imap server has probably some limitation.
Under telnet there is no problem, I can create subfolders under subfolders. When I return to Mozilla or Outllok I see those subfolders.
