Well, if it helps, I've tested Mutt with both Courier and Binc, on the
same folder collection, and what I see is:

With Courier, I get
1       IMAP +                          INBOX.
2       IMAP                            INBOX

whereas with Binc I only get line 1. Selecting line 1 shows my list of
folders, line 2 opens the inbox itself.

I've been using Pine with Courier for a long time and I'd like to carry
on using it as that's what I'm familiar with. BTW has anyone had a look
at Cone, a new console IMAP client written by the author of Courier?
(Found it on freshmeat).
