Hm. Mark Crispin's uw-imap does not log to /var/log/qmail/current - that's
for sure. All received and sent emails are logged by qmail. Your IMAP
server doesn't do any mail delivery in that sense.

An IMAP server is used for fetching emails from the mail server. It can
copy or store mails in folders for you, but it can not send email. That's
an SMTP server's job (qmail-smtpd). :-)

Perhaps your email client has been set up with the wrong SMTP server - so 
that the sent mail doesn't go through your mail server at all but perhaps 
directly from your client host.

Either way, I can guarantee you that neither Binc IMAP nor uw-imap send
email.  :-)
