Try connecting to xinetd with "strace -s 512 -f -p <pid> >dump.txt 2>&1",
then attempt to log in to the imap server. When it hangs, break strace and
post the dump.txt file to this list.
You may want to edit away your password etc.. from the file first.
Andy (btw, you're running an _old_ version of this server and I bet
you would be much better off with the most recent version) :-)
