Sergei Kolobov has the FreeBSD port, and he's quite fast at pushing new
releases. We'll see what he can do. :-)

Thanks for the patch! I'll put it up as a patch to 1.1.8. I think you'll
enjoy 1.2 since this file has been completely rewritten and is much
faster, and the 0xff bug isn't (supposed to be) there anymore. Note that
there was a minor bug in the stock 1.2.1 version which has been fixed with
the most recent patch (for converting CRLF messages).
