I have done just what you describe recently and would only add the caution that you follow the advice to isolate the PSS before running the utility. It is definitely the right tool to use.
SCCM 1602, MS Server 2012 R2 Wendell Hutchison Network Software Specialist Deming Public Schools From: listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com [mailto:listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of Denzik, Josh Sent: Tuesday, April 26, 2016 6:28 AM To: ms...@lists.myitforum.com Subject: [mssms] Using ContentLibraryTransfer.exe to move content Library All, Has anyone ever used ContentLibraryTransfer.exe to move the content library from one volume to another specifically for the content library that is created on the site server (standalone primary no DP role installed)? We have plenty of space on our volume now, but we have an extra drive that is not use on site server (primary standalone) that would we would like to put to use. Is it advisable to move the content library on the site server to another volume? I know this tool is meant to do it on a DP. How close does the drive space have to get on a site server (primary standalone) before it starts moving part of the content library to the other volume(this server has no DP it is the site server only)? Any guidance or direction on this would be much appreciated. Thanks Josh
