The default password to remove is Symantec.  You can also check the SEPM to see 
if a password was set and edit.


  1.  Open the console manager
  2.  Click Clients
  3.  Select Policies tab.
  4.  Click on General Settings.
  5.  Select Security Settings tab.
  6.  Select Require a password to uninstall the client
  7.  Type the <password> in the box.
  8.  Click OK.


I have not tried this one…

Set to 0 to disable

I believe you have to call Symantec and get the CleanWipe utility. You can no 
longer run it silently though :(. Some competing AV vendors have ways of 
removing it as well.... SCEP? :)
