That was a part of a private link customer link.    What Jon copied is an 
incomplete link (the missing other stuff bit).  The 
communication.microsoft.com<http://communication.microsoft.com> website is 
otherwise not any type of open public portal.

it is pretty locked down so I am limited in what I can do.  I could forward it

Well using a Windows 7 machine when I looked at the email is said since I was 
running Windows 8 I could click to upgrade.  I will look again and send to the
