Our accounting package is Business Vision by Sage (looking for a new ERP, another subject all together) installed BV Pervasive 10.3 64 bit and SQL server 2008 R2, 32 bit, doing a query took longer than on the old 2003 server, switched the Pervasive to 32 bit and performance improve to par with the old server. I don't understand how Pervasive and SQL works to be able to determine why, should we maybe have both Pervasive and SQL running 64 bit? Would it make sense to go right to 2012 R2 server?
