This is odd. I have 8 DCs in my domain. On 5 of them, the zone transfer settings of the AD-integrated zone are set correctly - all zone transfers only to servers on the Name Servers tab, and to notify only those same servers.
And on 3 of the DCs, the zone transfer keeps reverting back to a specific listing of DCs. And not all 8, either. :-) Now, apparently we did used to want that (because we wanted a zone transfer to also go to our SolarWinds server, for monitoring). But I have changed that - repeatedly! - on all servers. So why do only 3 of them keep insisting on reverting back? Yesterday, twice I verified all DCs were set correctly. Then I come in this morning, and 3 are back to the wrong settings. So it looks like they are being obstinate and not transferring zones (and hence zone changes) to all their brethren. Any ideas on why only some would change? And where I would start looking to fix it? (besides looking at it every few hours) Thanks
