How are you measuring the speed of your WIM download during OSD?

We have Cisco IP phones, I would like to measure the download speed going thru
the phone, and directly connected to the switch.

An update.

It was a networking issue. Seems after our recent network upgrade our client
computers are stuck at roughly 5mbs. Networking people will investigate, but
most likely due to the specific settings to support our old VOIP system.

After plugging straight in to the core switch, we are now getting 60MB.

DL first then apply or direct apply from DP, that check box in the package
properties?

The later only gives me about 10MB, DL directly uses like everything, but it
isn’t faster anyway, in total, so I apply directly.

Hi

We are currently in a testing phase for a new deployment of SCCM 2012 R2 SP1
(finally getting rid of 2007). I have noticed that the speeds of downloading
the WIM files during a operating system deployment are not as fast as we were
expecting.

On the internet people are advising to install KB2910552 to resolve the speed
issue. But it seems the download link is broken at the moment, and it also
would put on a “lower” version of the files as we now have SP1.

-Does anyone have a copy of this hotfix as the link is broken for me -
http://hotfixv4.microsoft.com/ConfigMgrV5/nosp/ConfigMgr_2012_R2_CU0_KB2910552_ENU/05.00.7958.1104/free/472169_ENU_x64_zip.exe

-Do you need this hotfix if you are running 2012 R2 SP1?

-Do you expect more then 5MB a second during OSD? (gigabit network with 10gb
core, ssd on client, dell 9020M)
