I don't see Adobe Flash listed, that seems to be a pretty glaring omission. Any plans on adding it?
Also, we have issues with Java patches failing if browser windows are open. I assume this is still the case with Patch My PC? I know it's not Secunia's fault, just the nature of the update. It's essentially like deploying any other Microsoft update in SCCM. We only include the program listed no extra bloatware/toolbars/etc like may happen if a user goes through an install and just keeps the default items :). As for the startup, it depends on how the application installer configures the software and what properties the installers offer. In fact, most applications requested by our customers have been added to our SCUP catalog: https://patchmypc.net/forum/index.php?board=19.0 As far to release cadence, we typically are able to fully test and release updates the same day the vendor releases the update (Even non-security updates). Security specific updates are almost always released the same day the vender releases the update. A full list of our catalog update history can be found here: https://patchmypc.net/feed Cost is 1 USD$ per managed client on an annual basis. For around 19,000 devices, it would be around $ 19,000 annually to subscribe to our catalog. I have about 19,000 active clients and I'm tired of patching 3rd party apps via full app deployments. I'd love to hear about any experience or suggestions any of you have.
