You might have to drop wireshark in the system or setup a port mirrior to
determine if any sql traffic is going to the dynamic assigned ips. If
not.then disable wait and then repeT with static assigned. Also are the
static nic speed and duplex set the same on server and the switch? Alot
of.times the auto auto doesnt work well and causes.rings and dropped
packets and excessive.renegotiations. Which also might be an issue from
network side.
