FWIW, I was using (delete the Wow6432Node\ for 32 bit systems) :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Adobe
Flash Player ActiveX\DisplayName
in the past, but that went out the window when Microsoft started including
Flash Player upgrades within Windows Updates.
