Nice, tried that but on several Win7 systems I checked it's only good for the
major version :
'ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.18'

How about checking for this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash\CurVer

customer is using a specific toolset that can read registry keys and values,
but not file system attributes. Hence the search for the indicator within the
registry itself.
Thanks.

Now that Microsoft is distributing Flash Player upgrades through Windows
Update, no longer is the Uninstall/Adobe.... registry key available to check to
see if Flash Player is installed, and if so, what version.
Has anyone found a method to check the registry for Flash Player 'Post Windows
Update' ?
Thanks,
Erik
