We have multiple Primary sites. We have 2 ourselves, a development and a production site, each with their own site codes. The server team has at least 1 site that they use for managing the servers. So all told we have at least 3 in the same domain.
No problems here. Each site has a different site code. We publishing information about each site to AD, but we are not publishing boundaries since in our environment they do overlap. If you do not publish boundary information to AD and you're using WSUS/Software Update Point to install the client you will need a GPO that sets the installation parameters/site code. I know that you can only have one primary site(server) per domain ( I`m not planning to use CAS), but it would be easier for me to copy all my custom settings, installation switches, task sequences etc., before I start to decommission the old one. It's possible to keep them both side by side ?
