At that point is boundaries,  boundary groups and DPs assigned to those
boundary groups.

Create a package with batch file 1.cmd with echo here. Distribute it and
deploy to those clients,  check location service log and you can see MP and
DP info there. Check policy logs to see if clients is getting those
policies.
