Hello Quick question regarding our "pending" upgrade. We currently are at CM2012 R2 and we use a "stand alone" client installation package v5.0.7958.1501 (don't ask - politics). We are planning to perform the above mentioned upgrade in 2 weeks but want to get the New Client installation package v5.0.8239.1203 prepared and deployed ASAP. Looking at several MS articles It appears this new Client version will work in the older environment (just no new features) until the Site Systems are upgraded. Is this a correct assumption?
