I think what we are looking at here is a play into the converged/cloud stacks to join Cisco, HP and IBM at the party. Although probably late. I believe the larger issue at hand here is neither Dell or EMC are in the upper echelon of technology anymore. So Dell stays mediocre and EMC becomes more so as time goes on.
