There was an oddity last week where an email was sent out by MS about this bulletin being revised. I shared it with the patch management mailing list before someone alerted me to the fact the revision was dated Oct 2014. The following day MS issued another notice acknowledging the previous notice was an error and to disregard it. Not sure what's going on because at the bottom of MS14-042 in the revision notes it says it's now available on MS Update but I can't find it in my SUP either.

In the KB it only says "available for download from the Microsoft Download Center", nothing about WU. In the list of WSUS updates for 2014, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3028013 , neither MS14-042 or KB2972621 appear. At the same link it says "This article does not apply to security releases for products that are not supported by Windows Update." That logic leads me to think it will not be available in SCCM SUP / WSUS.
