Ed, What are you using for that power management? I've been trying to get WoL working around here, but have certain network devices in place that are throwing up roadblocks.

There are tools to aid that scenario, but not in the power mgmt space I referred to earlier. Now you're into the SW distribution over a complex WAN/VPN/Internet discussion. We see equally high success rates in this scenario, but for different reasons. MOST of them can be overcome with a good power management solution that can integrate with SCCM to power on devices when the patch job executes, and can safely power them off when complete (effectively getting that reboot necessary to apply the new patches). We see 24-48hr completions and 95-98% success rates consistently with our customers.
