first question -->could be that, the client update status did not reach to the site server ? what does the client logs says ? updatestore.log,updatesdeployment.log ,these logs will tell you what patches installed and what is missing. If the updatestore.log tells that, the updates you are looking for installed, you can probably try to refresh the compliance status using this link:https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc146437.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 2nd question-->It will show as Compliant which is safe to ignore.Once the client install the update,it will report to site server as installed which inturn, the patch status for that particular machine will be changed to compliant .This blog can help you with little more information http://eskonr.com/2015/04/sccm-2012-troubleshoot-client-software-update-issues/

Some machines that are targeted by ssoftware updates deployment are reporting as “Not Required” status in the report. But when I look for the updates in the QuickFixEngineering WMI class we can see that it has been installed recently. How come the reports shows “Not Required” and not “Installed” status? Second question on that topic, if an update is installed by a previous deployment management once re-evaluated will it show as Installed or as Not Required? Regards, Jérémy SI HASSEN
