Just a quick update on this topic as it was 3 weeks ago i think no-one care anymore about it but we've found the solution.
The December Windows Update Agent solved the issue on the pilot population we had (approx. 100 computers). It's now being deployed in Production and the numbers improved drastically. If the updatestore.log tells that, the updates you are looking for installed, you can probably try to refresh the compliance status using this link:https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc146437.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 2nd question-->It will show as Compliant which is safe to ignore.Once the client install the update,it will report to site server as installed which inturn, the patch status for that particular machine will be changed to compliant . This blog can help you with little more information http://eskonr.com/2015/04/sccm-2012-troubleshoot-client-software-update-issues/ Regards Eswar Koneti www.eskonr.com<http://www.eskonr.com> ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [mssms] SCCM & WSUS - Compliance Status Weirdness Date: Fri, 27 Nov 2015 15:00:55 +0000 Hi everyone, We're experiencing a weird issue on our environment. Some machines that are targeted by ssoftware updates deployment are reporting as "Not Required" status in the report. But when I look for the updates in the QuickFixEngineering WMI class we can see that it has been installed recently. How come the reports shows "Not Required" and not "Installed" status? Second question on that topic, if an update is installed by a previous deployment management once re-evaluated will it show as Installed or as Not Required? Regards, Jérémy SI HASSEN
