If you aren't familiar with any thing, start with straight up scup. In general you will likely need the components for normal scup to be in place and functioning anyway, even if you later decide you need to fill in gaps with a for-pay solution.
With straight scup, at a minimum you can start scanning and deploying adobe flashplayer updates, and updates to Adobe reader and acrobat. Once you've successfully seen how it works for something like flashplayer, then you'll be able to objectively see how other solutions might fill in other missing things.
