Soliciting comments for those list members charging Optima Yellow Tops.
Do you strive to put in a finishing charge after the bulk charge phase?
Do you do it every time you charge?
What do you guys use to put in a 2 amp for 1 hour finishing charge
that the manufacturer calls for?
I have been thinking that there must be some surplus power supplies
out there (cheap) that offer adjustable voltage and current that
would work, but I don't know where to look.
Well, I don't charge my YTs yet. They're still sitting on the floor
but when I do get them in the bike I plan on bad boy charging them
then using Soniel (sp?) chargers to top them off.
There was a VERY hot debate on EVDL about this I think two years ago.
I don't recall what was said or else I'd recap here but I don't want
to send out any more false or mis-leading info. :)
