I'm not sure that the direction is as important as the fan itself. A CPU
fan does not sound strong enough, but it's not much of a description to go
on. Have you seen Miles Tweets setup http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/492.
You might want to contact him to see what he used. 6.5 inches does seem
close to the size of what is on his, so you may be beyond this stage of
discovery already.

For those of us using the Etek motor.....Which direction should the forced
air cooling be routed? Towards the brushes or pulled thru the motor first,
across the brush end?
I have a 4 inch cpu fan on it now, with a 6.5 inch ready in the box
(with a shroud.)
Any thoughts?
