Welcome, glad to have ya here.
A successful engineering project is one that meets it goals. What are your
goals?

Very few people use at transmission on an EM, you need the space for
batteries badly and it's not a good cost/benefit trade off. Most everyone is
doing single reduction around 5:1 between front and rear sprockets.

Most do 72V for highway use. 48v in next choice with the benefit of more and
cheaper parts due to the fact that is a golf cart voltage with the downside of
higher current draw which is harder on the batteries. Some do 96v but there
are fewer controller choices in the range (like 2 readily available).

    Hello all!

Just introducing myself. I'm full swing into my own EM build, and I was
relieved to find this list.

Are any of you using the existing transmissions with your conversions, or are
you running straight drives?

What kind of motor controllers are you running? What is the average voltage?
I'm curious to see how far off my conversion is from other, successful
conversions.
