ok, yeh i was after a pancake motor, but i'm still weighing up the pro's and cons......

If you're talking about the D&D sepex then I think it is a nice motor. I use a D&D in my first conversion and like it, but it is a bit heavy and not as compact as a pancake perm. mag. motor like the etek, lynch, or perm. It can take a lot more continues amps though and since there are a long of long steep hills here in Colorado I felt better about it. The guys at www.canev.com did a bike with the sepex.
