If you don't have good brakes, you might end up with breaks.

AP lockheed experimented with ISO (In Side Out), but had problems with
judder due to problems grinding the discs without distortion. Tony Foale
(www.tonyfoale.com) bought their caliper stock and had discs laser cut out
of comercial grade stainless sheet. They worked perfectly and were used on
both his QL and the Q2.

I have a vague memory of them having ripped off Braking (www.braking.com)
in Italy and there having to be a settlement. Buell use Nissin calipers I
think. Buell try far too hard to be inovative for innovations sake and I
think the build quality is dreadful. A shame, they can be a nice ride.
