I first saw this bike at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair this past summer. Yes Ben is very enthusiastic. He had just finished putting the pieces together and brought it unfinished to the fair. Ben has done a lot of work on this since, added the yellow tops, he now has a functioning front brake, and some paint. I spent a good part of both days in his booth helping to explain electric motorcycles to fair goers, spelling him when I didn't have Real Goods booth duty. I think there were a good many people leaving the booth with ideas of their own. Unfortunately I had flown there from CO, bringing my bike like I did to Solfest later in the year was not possible. I would have loved to have had mine there.
