theres been a lot of talk about them on the EVDL. The Honda fuel cell
car I drove used them too. My sense is that they are best used in BEVs
with very high demand and/or heavy regen, neither of which are relevant
to light BEVs like bikes, but I am prepared to be corrected. They aren't
cheap. yet. In fuel cell cars, they make a convenient buffer for hard
acceleration.
