I integrated a large pack into a hybrid diesel electric truck about 4 years
ago. It used just caps. I also used them to stiffen a NiMH pack on a very
powerful hybrid. Thy work, but don't store much energy, at least beck then
they didn't. I think when they reach 5Wh/kg they would be good for a drag
racing EV as a sole energy supply. Last I checked, they weren't there yet.
The caps I used were from Nesscap, of Korea.
