I tried the #330 which was for a smaller motor HP. I tore the belt up
after a while and despite the largest weights it failed to lock up at
near zero rpm. Best guess is I lost about 600 rpm. My tops speed was
40-45. Single gear ratio I get 60 mph.

According to the Hoffco engineers the Series 500 is sized for the
motors we are using. Using the heaviest weights and no springs would
net a near zero engagement.

There is one bike on this listserv that has a right sized Comet CVT.
Don't know their results. Side by side comparison acceleration,
engagement rpm, etc.
