Steve,

Yeah, 1S between screen updates is probably fine. You're not supposed to be staring at the gauges while riding anyway, right? The logging interval, tho'.. it could be less often, say 10s and it might be useful to have the interval adjustable. I'm thinking especially with a palm thing you might want to minimize the amount of logged data due to limited storage. And while more data makes for more accurate charts a more granular interval might be "good enough".

True and thanks! Note I updated the code and, well, I made more changes later today... I made it so the one second update is accurate. I'll update the code on my website in a few days after I've let this last change ferment a while.

From those that know better than I (anyone with a running EM): Is one second updates (and logging good enough)? What optional rates should there be, if any? Is filtering of the data much use? Of course the answer is yes, everything, and wouldn't it be nice to..... , but I really don't want to get it over complicated. As it is now, the interface is direct, simple, and obvious (to me anyway). Anything else will make it messier. But I don't want to miss obvious good stuff like the Watt-Hour suggestion -that was excellent and worth cramming in.

Oh no problem, thanks. I was just trying to put it on EMDash as that
seemed like a good place for it.
